A fun breeding experiment into its eighth year that crosses several hubbard varieties: Large Green Hubbard, Large Blue, Baby Blue, Potimarron, and Red Kuri. Squashes vary in size and colour, and even in shape. Many are as shown in the picture (which is from year six) but some are oblong with pointed ends as well. All have thick tasty flesh and can keep for months with care. Direct sow or transplant out in late May. Fertilize with lots of compost for large plants and fruits. approx. 15 seeds/packet
