(C. pepo). Classic dark green zucchini that is productive and easy to grow. A staple in the summer garden. Harvest at any size up to 12” for tender fruits. Start inside in pots mid-May and transplant out when the weather is reliably warm, usually later May/ early June. All squashes like lots of compost dug into the bed and a steady supply of water to achieve maximum amounts of fruits. Start new seeds in late July for a fall harvest. approx. 20 seeds/packet
