Winter squash. Classic variety, light-brown skin with orange flesh. Small seed cavity. Fruits can reach up to about 8lbs, and will store for several months. Start inside 2-3 weeks before setting out in warm weather, usually in late May on the West Coast. Protect from weather extremes until plants are settled in. Harvest the squashes when the plants die down and cure in a warm spot for a week or so. approx 20 seeds/packet
