The original seed from this pepper came to us from the same Hungarian woman who gave us Szentesi. This is a great all round frying and cooking pepper that is similar to Red Bull’s Horn, but substantially more productive. Oddly, when doing some research on Szegedi, we found that there are all kinds of peppers called “Szegedi” out there— from super hot and spicy, to blocky in shape. We have no idea what the “true” strain is, but we’re quite satisfied with ours. Sweet, 4-5 inches long, yellow-green ripening to fiery red. Can be eaten at any point. Enjoy! approx. 25 seeds/packet
