Corn, Painted Mountain

from CA$4.50

CORN, Painted Mountain

A very early flour corn bred by Dave Christensen in Montana, from several varieties of indigenous corn. Bred to be tough and hardy, yet still produce a crop, this is one of the hardiest varieties out there. Easy to grow, can be eaten as a sweet corn when still in the “milky stage. It shines though if is dried and ground into flour. Easy to do in a blender. Also makes a stunning fall ornament because of the colour variations.
