Originally from China, fruits are up to 18”, dark green, sweet, with thin skin. The skin has tiny spikes which are easily rubbed off by hand. Very tasty, use a trellis for straighter fruit, and I say “straighter” because even with a trellis they have a bit of a curling habit. Well worth growing, and easier to grow than the standard English cuke.
