Allium schoenoprasum. A must in the kitchen garden, this perennial herb is wonderful as a cut and come again salad favourite. Also excellent in mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, etc. The purple flowers are very pretty and attract large amounts of bees and other pollinators. Start inside in pots, several seeds per cell, 1/4” deep and keep moist until sprouted. Transplant outside after 3-4 weeks, about 6” apart. Keep weeded, and eventually the chives will fill in and make a thick patch. Minimum 100 seeds/packet
