Mullein

CA$4.50

Verbascum thapsis. Easy to grow self seeding biennial has pretty yellow flowers on a large central leader that can get to about five feet tall. The leaves are soft and wooly and are used as an expectorant, and added to smoking blends when dried. A tincture made from the flowers to relax and the flowers also make a great yellow dye. Its a great plant to have in the garden. Leave it to self sow after flowering and it will cheerfully pop up around your garden. Sow the tiny seeds mid-spring barely covering and keep moist until they germinate. Be patient. It may take up to three weeks. approx. 200 seeds/packet.
